GUIDELINES
- All Amity litters will be bred
to conform as closely as possible to the Standard of
Excellence of its breed.
- Airedale Terrier hips are
x-rayed in all breeding stock for signs of HD (hip dysplasia)
and are sent to the Orthopedic Foundation for animals (OFA)
for certification.
- All puppies will be sold with
contracts clearly stating all terms of placement. It will
include a spay-neuter agreement or AKC non-breeding
registration for companions. also, there will be a
stipulations that the animal be returned to the breeder if
circumstances change and the buyer is no longer able to keep
it.
- All prospective buyers will be
completely education as to the nature and special needs of the
Airedale Terrier and/or Skye Terrier.
- Every litter must be carefully
evaluated for behavioral characteristics. All puppies will be
temperament tested.
- To ensure the availability of
an Amity Airedale Terrier and/or Skye Terrier, a deposit may
be made before the time of purchase.
